3.14. Replacement of a back sealing ring of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the transmission and a flywheel.
2. The easiest way of extraction of an old sealing ring is in that the screw-driver to hook on a sealing ring and to take it from a nest.
3. Also sealing ring can be taken from a nest if to drill two small openings located in the opposite ends of a sealing ring in a ring.
4. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend a sealing ring for heads of screws.
5. Grease working edges and an external surface of a new sealing ring with pure engine oil and, using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, establish a back sealing ring of a bent shaft.
6. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
