GENERAL INFORMATION

Measurement of density of antifreeze

Prevention

Do not allow hit of cooling liquid on clothes and a paint and varnish covering of a body. Otherwise wash out a surface a plentiful amount of water.

Antifreeze represents mix of the distilled water with an ethylene glycol concentrate. Antifreeze provides protection of the cooling system against corrosion and increases a boiling point of cooling liquid. The amount of ethylene glycol in antifreeze depends on weather service conditions of the car and usually makes from 40 to 70%. For definition temperatures of freezing of antifreeze need to be taken its density.
