8.1.5. Switches of light of a backing and neutral provision of KP

GENERAL INFORMATION

Backing light switch arrangement

The backing light switch (it is specified by an arrow) is located on the left side of a back case of the transmission.

Switches of light of a backing and neutral position of the transmission are located on the forward party of a back case (model 2WD) or on a case of the transmission (model 4WD).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car and record on supports.
	2. For check of the switch disconnect the electric socket located on wires of the switch and connect an ohmmeter to the socket (it is specified by an arrow) the switch.
	3. For check of the switch of light of a backing turn on the reverse gear and check that resistance between contacts of the switch is equal to 0. Include any other transfer and check that resistance between contacts of the switch is equal to infinity.
4. For check of the switch of neutral position of the transmission install the transmission lever in neutral situation and, using an ohmmeter, check the switch resistance which has to be equal to 0. At inclusion of any transfer resistance of the switch of neutral situation has to be equal to infinity.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For replacement of switches disconnect the electric socket from the switch and unscrew the switch from the transmission.
